Be still and know that I am God. – Psalm 46:10
In this awesome verse We see a plan to glorify His Name and exult His Name among the nations of the world who rage against the God of heaven and His anointed King. He is our Defence and our Defender against the enemies of our soul, and all who rest in Him find courage and strength. He is our refuge from the storms of life and our shelter in the midst of oppression, and we are called to be still and to know that He is God – for His purposes will never fail and He will be glorified throughout the whole earth.
But in another vein of truth here I see God telling me that in all my busyness to rest in Him that He has it all under control. I am to be busy about my Papas business and yet as I work with an attitude of responsibility and ownership over what He has put me over, I am to trust that He has it all under control. Not a sparrow falls to the earth without Him knowing. Then He is able to ordain and control all my circumstances. For He goes before me each day and dictates and choreographs my every move. Every step I take I take in Him.
I am to cease worrying of the outcome as He has nothing but a plan for good for me and whatever I put my hands to do today.
I am the “player”, He is the Coach and Designer of every play. I am the performer, He is The Maestro, I am the instrument that He wields today.
Papa I trust for today that You are a Good Good Father (PaPa) and while I do labor unto thee, I put my trust in you! Thank You Jesus!
